Publication of the article «Correlation between chemical composition and 90Sr concentrations in groundwater of the Chornobyl NPP industrial site»

    The scientific article “Correlation between chemical composition and 90Sr concentrations in groundwater of the Chornobyl NPP industrial site” prepared by scientists of the Institute for Safety Problems of Nuclear Power Plants of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was accepted for publication in the Journal of Environmental Radioactivity.

     The Journal of Environmental Radioactivity provides an opportunity for international publication of original research or review articles describing any aspect of the occurrence of radioactivity in the natural environment.     For more than a year a group of scientists which includes I. O. Kovalenko, M. I. Panasiuk, A. D. Skorbun, N. V. Sosonna, M. I. Ojovan, A. L. Shevchenko, I. R. Onyshchenko worked on an article describing the possibilities of applying the methods of mathematical statistics for the analysis of 90Sr volume activity data in groundwater at the industrial site ChNPP.
