The 10th International Conference on Environmental Engineering and Applications (ICEEA 2019) was held on June 25-28, 2019 in Prague, Czech Republic. The Conference is a forum for the presentation of new achievements and research results in the field of theoretical, experimental and applied environmental engineering. The conference was organized by the Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (HKCBEES) and the Czech Technical University in Prague.
The conference was attended by leading researchers, engineers and scientists from more than 10 countries from around the world. The topics of papers covered the following areas:
- monitoring and analysis of environmental pollutants;
- air pollution and monitoring of emission sources;
- physics of the atmosphere;
- global environmental change and ecosystem management, and others.
From the Institute for Safety Problems of NPP of the NAS of Ukraine, the conference was attended by Oleksandr Kalynovskyi, Ph.D., the Head of Sector of Analytical Methods Spectrometry, and Valerii Khan, Ph.D., the Head of the Department for Radiation Monitoring. Presented report “Monitoring of Radioactive Aerosols of Chornobyl Genesis in Ground-level Air Close to the Shelter Object” was made by the group of authors O. K. Kalynovskyi, V. O. Krasnov, V. Ye. Khan.
Participation in the conference was extremely cognitive and useful in terms of sharing experiences and presenting results of their own researches.
