Conference of the “Ukrainian Nuclear Society”
On June 2, 2023, a reporting and election conference of the Public organization “Ukrainian Nuclear Society” (UkrNS) was held in Kyiv.
The conference was attended by 45 representatives of leading enterprises and organizations of the nuclear industry of Ukraine, as well as scientific institutions and institutions of higher education that prepare students and scientists for nuclear energy and industry.
Conference participants heard a report on the activities of UkrNS for the period from May 2021 to May 2023. The heads of the separate divisions of UkrNS reported on their activities. The report of the audit commission was presented by Yevheniia Kudin, Deputy Director of the Institute for Safety Problems of NPP.
In the second part of the conference, the organization’s management was elected.
Volodymyr Kholosha, Deputy General Director of the State Enterprise “Atomproektengineering” of the SE “NNEGC “Energoatom” became the new president of the PO “UkrNS”.
The executive secretary of UkrNS was re-elected, and the new members of the Board and Audit Commission of the organization was approved.
From the Institute for Safety Problems of NPP of NAS of Ukraine, the Director of the Institute, academician Anatolii Nosovskyi, Deputy Director Yevheniia Kudin, Head of the Sector, Dr. Tech. Kostiantyn Simeiko, Head of the Sector Andrii Sadovnikov and Leading Engineer Roman Samodielok.
The Director of the Institute for Safety Problems of the NPP of the NAS of Ukraine, academician, Dr. Tech. of Anatolii Nosovskyi. Yevheniia Kudin, the Deputy Director on General Issues of the ISP NPP, was re-elected to the audit commission of UkrNS.
According to the results of the work, the delegates of the conference recognized the work of the PO “UkrNS” as satisfactory during the reporting period, and also outlined the plans for the further activities of the Society.
During the conference, Anatolii Nosovskyi presented the Letter of Gratitude of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine to Kostiantyn Simeiko for hard creative work, high publication activity and personal achievements in the development of scientific research in the field of energy.
