Participation of the ISP NPP specialists in the work of the Commission on CSFSF commissioning
On February 16, 2022, within the work of the Commission on the Centralized spent fuel storage facility commissioning, the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine conducted inspection of systems and elements important for the safety, as well as main technological processes of reloading and transportation of containers with spent nuclear fuel, tested control of the radiation safety and radiation protection, compliance with requirements to the physical protection. Specialists of the Institute for Safety Problems of NPP of the NAS of Ukraine, who conduct scientific and technical maintenance at the stages of construction and commissioning of the CSFSF of VVER type reactors of the domestic NPPs, which is under construction in the Chornobyl exclusion zone, were involved in the work of the Commission.
V. M. Rudko, Head of the Division for Design of Objects with Radiation and Nuclear Technologies, and V. V. Derengovskyi, Head of the Department for NPP Decommissioning, conducted maintenance of work from the ISP NPP.
