Cleaning day with the fervour
On April 12, the staff of the Institute carried out a traditional spring cleaning day of territory adjacent to the head office on the Lysohirska street, 12, in Kyiv. Among the people such an action is called «subotnik». Many employees joined the socially useful work. In spite of the cool weather with enthusiasm, good mood and fighting spirit, providing themselves with the necessary equipment, candidates and doctors of sciences, scientists and researchers began to arrange the territory.
A lot of work had been done – they collected garbage, removed last year’s leaves, cut shrubs and trees, cleared the territory from the branches, planted a lawn, repaired the stairs, submerged tracks, carried out sanitary cleaning of plantations, dug stones and installed bows.
After finishing the improvement work with a pleasant fatigue and with pride for the benefit of the Institute’s work done, all participants returned to work to their offices.
We thank all the non-indifferent staff who took part in community work day and brought the territory to the proper conditions. Working with zeal results worthy effect.
