Theoretical Bases of Information Protection

The textbook outlines the basic notions and methods of protecting information based on the mathematical apparatus of the transformation and research of information signals, technologies of measurement, transmission and processing of information, signals and data, noise immunity coding, the use of modern information and communication channels of information transmission, on the algorithms of encryption and decryption, steganography and cryptography, digital signature, etc. Along with algorithmic and technical methods, protection of confidential and commercial information, protection from unauthorized access, protection of intellectual property, legislative protection of information, as well as international standards in the field of information protection are considered.
