ISP NPP of NAS of Ukraine obtain the Certificate of conformity for quality management system

      On January 25, 2018, the official representative of «Bureau Veritas» Certification Body, Director General of «Bureau Veritas Ukraine» Maxim Vediankin handed over to the administration of ISP NPP the Certificate of conformity for the quality management system in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015.

      Maxim Vediankin in his speech congratulated the leadership and the Institute staff on this remarkable achievement and emphasized that compliance with the ISO 9001 standard is an important sign of good management of scientific institution, its readiness for the operational solution the emerging problems and an effective response to changing external conditions.

      The compliance of the quality management system of the Institute was confirmed by the «Bureau Veritas Ukraine» audit team during a supervisory audit that was conducted in December 2017. The auditors noted the high level of Institute’s leadership commitment to developing and maintaining the functioning of the quality management system, the depth of processing and the quality of internal processes, qualitative approach to risk management.

    The quality management system implemented in the Institute in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 applies to the following areas of activity:

• research of «Ukryttia» Object;
• scientific and technical support for works related to the decommissioning of nuclear facilities;
• the spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste management;
• radioecology;
• safety of power units’ operation at the nuclear power plants as well as other nuclear facilities.

      The availability of the Certificate indicate to the effective work of the Institute in providing services to customers and other interested institutions and the public, as well as to the direction of the institution to protect the population and the environment against radiation anthropogenic impact.
